New York Farm Day
NEW YORKFARM DAY on September 23 will give official Washington a taste of just how good food can be, while also reminding Senators and Representatives that New York is a major farm state. Hosted annually since 2002 by Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and organized by the New York Wine & Grape Foundation, “Farm Day” brings the food—and the people who produce it—right into the Russell Senate office building for a reception that has become the hottest ticket on Capitol Hill. This year the RSVP’s are coming in earlier and stronger than ever, and I just hope everyone can fit in the room. It’s a fun feast!
